樹葡萄介紹 × 認識嘉寶果的特色與生長方式
樹葡萄，又稱為嘉寶果（Jabuticaba），是一種原產於南美洲的水果。
在台灣，因為果實圓潤且生長在樹上，因此許多人習慣稱它為樹葡萄。雖然目前仍屬於較少見的水果，
但獨特的生長方式與果實外觀，讓不少人第一次看到時都留下深刻印象。
樹葡萄從哪裡來？
樹葡萄原產於南美洲，以巴西地區最為常見，屬於桃金孃科植物。
由於適合溫暖氣候生長，因此後來也陸續引進台灣栽培，成為部分農場與果園種植的特色果樹之一。
樹葡萄的生長方式
與大部分水果不同的是，樹葡萄的果實不是長在枝條末端，而是直接生長在樹幹與主枝上。
每到開花季節，樹幹上會陸續開出白色小花，花朵凋謝後逐漸形成果實，並隨著時間慢慢成熟。
成熟時，深紫黑色的果實沿著樹幹生長，也成為樹葡萄最具代表性的特色之一。
樹葡萄的風味特色
成熟的樹葡萄果肉柔軟多汁，帶有自然果香與甜味。
不同品種、成熟度與栽培環境，也會呈現不同的風味表現。除了鮮食之外，也常被應用於果醬、冰品、發酵產品及相關食品開發。
